you guys are killing me you really are.

every now and then when you push me to the brink i will produce a lesson

this is your first

common - mostly used to mean 'frequently used', 'of no special quality', it has various other meanings too but i won't make things complicated - this is the meaning those speaking english as a second language should use.

it is not an acceptable shortening for 'come on', ignoring the fact it's the same number of letters and only lacks the space, it's wrong.

c'mon is the generally accepted shortening.

I appreciate the help,
but we are all from different countries and you can not expect everybody to talk clean English..
If you get what someone means, even in wrong spelling, it should be fine.

cheers cheers cheers

Common all!!! lol! lol! lol! lol!

Cheers Chrissie

I like this Very Happy
It helps everyone getting that little bit better in English

I usually just write the words wrong/letters switching places, that kind of thing.

But very nice idea.

lol, nice topic... can't wait for the next classes with Ms. Delrio!

Although i also point what Chrissie and Tinus said. Sometimes native english speakers don't understand that it's not easy to find the exact words in another language and, as a consequence, non-natives tend to transform that word spoken in their language to a crazy english word ^^ (it happens a lot with me trying to write in spanish, english not that often anymore).

believe me i understand, i learned german and french at school - the grammar is very different

this is meant as a stress relief for me cos i love the english language and the way words are used and also as a help to people, i know a couple of members are looking to improve their english and will find this helpful - the rest of you just take it as it's meant - a bit of fun
