Did it ask you about paying 2 planets as well ?
If it did beta players dont earn planets - so only people with canyon accounts at the moment will have have any planets i believe

So i need to use my Canyon account to use the Planets on Stadium? That's a stupid thing xD
And i guess it doesn't ask for it as you didn't download them from Maniapark.

Yes i did it too with my Canyon account. No problems so far.
I just gave up about the cars. I can't do shit. Maybe i'm too dumb. Anyway.
I just discouvered that SLIDE is completely legal yet! So TM2 didn't eleminate what some called Cheating. It's still possible.
I hope the final version deals with this glow... i'm almost blind. I can't play good for 10 min straight... i have to stop.

Have you changed the visual settings to switch off Bloom? Mine's off, as I must have done it in the past with Canyon.

I've checked and you just need to do the following.
Start TM2: Stadium and choose Settings Click Configure Click Advanced Select Customize and set Preset to None.
You can now change preset settings to whatever you desire (including removing Bloom)

Thanks mate but i don't think it's taking care of what i don't like... maybe we should wait for the final version.
I hope NADEO is taking care of this, working 24/24 cause they didn't do shit to improve the game in almost 10 years!

Work in progress should be visible in 30 minutes - the track is Black sheep valley from Xeres Cross
In this case in TM the car is shown wingless, whilst in TM2 it is currently a winged version.
Look out where there are two glitches in the track shown. Whilst in this video they have no impact. I assure you they are deadly whilst racing in TM2.
Other comments - comparison
The TM cars get away from the line better initially than they do in TM2. The level of grip is most certainly higher. There are parts of the track in TM that i know you are on the edge of adhesion - especially the sequence of corners at the start. In TM2 you could pretty much drive anywhere with no problems.
There are going to be subtle changes in lines at least between the same track played in TM1 and TM2. Times are not likely to be equivalent. Some tracks are going to be unplayable when they are converted directly from TM1 - can the track author fix them with some editing in TM2 - dont know. Heavy danger here is of course going to be any tracks with block mixing. only Time will tell

Yes great vid's MJ, did you notice on that lap server we were on that on one of the maps at one place you went under the track to a sudden stop, like hitting an edge? Certainly wouldnt have been an issue in tm1/

I was on DDR server in TM2 last night an one converted track had a missing section. The terrain and track was simply not rendering and you drove off the top of the hill into air and crashed.

Another work in progress
This one really highlights some conversion bugs - and deadly ones - again on black sheep valley. The Australian Cars are recorded in TM1 with the fastest car basically racing at the pace of dedi 30 for the track.
The ATR car was played in TM2
Well despite the TM1 cars being faster outright (disagree - stay tuned - thats another work in progress) the TM2 car with a similar good lap should win this race. It has to fight the bugs to do it though. All three of the laps in TM1 felt very on edge and typically verging on out of control. Can i say the same thing in TM2 - no - it feels very much in control most of the time. I also cant finish the lap in TM2 without loosing a wing. Which lap did i enjoy more at this point - take a guess.

Speed Test - Straight Line
Well the last video suggested a TM car was faster off the start and here is the proof - can the TM2 catch up after the start ?
Well if you look at the end of the long sprint ~950 m the TM2 car just seems to be gaining ground before the finish - real or not ?
and the timing agrees - the TM2 car crawls back 0.04 seconds (compared to the next shorter track) But is still down by 0.09.
Can a TM2 car pass a TM 1 in just a straight line - it the length was perfect - maybe. Add a booster to the track the margin becomes 0.02, add two or three boosters and the TM1 car is back to a clear lead.

Nice work on the analysis your doing MJ. It seems to back up my observations on some converted TM1 tracks. The new grip is better in some parts, but I've had trouble maintaining speed in others.
