I understand now why the details from TMU dont work, the folder is made up completely different from the original.

So Ventil, it's not possible to add the details from TMU car's im afraid , but by the look's of things the wheel's are easily changed now as they have their own file

Juba didn't know about this new model. And i have a zip file for his car, on TM2, and it's completely the same as in TM1. I don't know what he did but he didn't use this model. I THINK...

Basically what do we need to do? Put what inside this new model? All the files in the TM1 zip cars? Or just details and icon? Just wondering. I'm like a 5 year old Jamz, actually worst than them, i'm completely aside all this things xD

it's hard to explain in english, but i only changed the name of details to DiffuseDetails, and the oriinal diffuse file i don't remember the name...

I will make a tutorial soon, it's all getting confusing

Juba's car model (the new 2013 team car) was originally from TM Carpark, downloaded as the new v2.0 HD model, this same car is available from ManiaPark known as v2.0b.

So yes Juba is right all you need to do is add 'skindiffuse' and 'detailsdiffuse' then the car will work with Stadium2.

The issue I had was how to make the 'OLD' car work, but now it is available from Nadeo on mAniaPark.( the one at the start of this topic)

There are currently 3 stadium car skins on maniapark that i am aware of - which one you need will depend on the original 3D model used for the existing TM skin. Currently these are all winged versions of the car.

Try copying everything except the original GBX files into this. This works for the old ATRII car.

Default stadium car (I believe this is the default stadium car as found in TM2)

If your car uses a different 3D model then these then you either need to have the original 3DS 3D model files for the car. Or wait till someone else does the conversion. If you have the 3ds models you need to look up the information on nadeoimporter and attempt the conversion.

I was not aware that the MKII by SQ|| was compatible with the older skin's, so ive learned something today

so...

v2.0b = 2013 team car

MkII and Default Stadium 2 = older team car's.

I am pretty stupid when it comes to cars but euuh...Is there a way, with short explanation) how I can fix the car you made for me for TM2?
I can do some in photoshop so maybe I can do it and it won't take you much time, I feel bad asking already

Ok np Chrissie I dont mind, it's fairly simple really and without Photoshop just follow these instruction's:-

1.Download this car from ManiaPlanet-http://www.maniapark.com/ressource.php?id=882
2.Open your current TM1 Team car's folder and copy/paste the 'Diffuse' , 'Details' and 'Icon' to Desktop so easy to find later.
3.Open the v2.0b car's zip file you downloaded and delete the 'DetailsDiffuse' , 'SkinDiffuse' and 'Icon'.
4.Re-Name 'Diffuse' and 'Details' on Desktop to 'DetailsDiffuse' and 'SkinDiffuse'
5.Add the 'DetailsDiffuse' , 'SkinDiffuse' and 'Icon' from desktop to the v2.0b Zip you downloaded from ManiaPlanet.
6.Drop the changed zip into ManiaPlanet 'Models' folder.(path to Models folder below)

The path to the models folder- C:\Users\****\Documents\ManiaPlanet\Skins\Models

That should work fine...although TM2 will charge you 3 planet's to un-lock the 3-D model
