| Here the skel is visible, cuz I've adjusted the window transparency. basically the brighter the color of the window, the more transparent it gets. Never mind the rest, I'm just experimenting at the moment ^^ If Jamz or anyone else wanna have a go at skinning, here are the template photoshop files with mesh and also a shadow bake for the diffuse. And of course the gbx file which contains the actual model. You know the drill. Template FilesI stuck in an icon.dds just so u got something to stick in the car-zip if u wanna use it in painter, and also a cool engine sound, cuz the default sounds kinda poo ^^ The hamstring name is in no way written in stone, I just used it as project name while modeling. I'll try to make a low poly model if you decide to use it. Low poly model only shows for people who have the setting for cars to "all low" and in the after-race-lineup if the place is 4th or worse. A non present low poly model, simply shows as a standard stadium car with a bad texture ^^ | |

...so do i postpone the RC car Gunner?, and get on with this? Oh yes, this one is much better :p RC is out of the question. I do ride now in your car Jamz, but I like this one too, of course with my own skinning :p | |

| Heyhey, I'm liking this thread more & more If you guys feel certain about this, I can start working on the lowpoly model. That is...if you feel it's needed. Here's my work in progress (under the assumption Jamz is doing the ATR style) ^^ | |

| Now that's a cool Dune buggy. Jamz, if you can skin it with a red flame pattern, same red as our team colour and put a flaming skull on the hood with my pseudo/nickname on the back part that would be nice. I'm in no rush though take care of everybody else first, I know you have people lined up | |

| For whoever is skinning... I'm done with the low poly model (MainBody.Solid.gbx) . Just download the file and stick it in the car zip file next to MainBodyHigh.Solid.gbx If you look for your car in the after-race winner lineup, you can see the low poly model if you're 4th to 16th place. Took me a day and a grumpy wife feeling ignored to make it, so enjoy it. Taking one for the team Download Low Poly ModelIf text or something else turns out mirrored or backwards (in the high poly model), you can simply flip horizontal or vertical in Photoshop. However the tyres may cause some text to be mirrored no matter which way u put it in Photoshop. Let me know if this happens, and I can fix it pretty quickly. | |
